The uniqueness of this fabric lies in how it is produced and that it can be adapted for any use by dyeing, printing and embroidery. It can be used as a neutral base or a canvas for various projects. It forms the perfect foundation for any eco-friendly outfit.
Mulberry One Silk is surprisingly breathable and efficiently keeps sweat away and lets your body cool down allowing it to regulate its temperature naturally and you never overheat.
As the mulberry plantation has not been treated with pesticides and chemical fertilisers, the yarn and fabric has not been treated with chemicals- you don't have to worry about coming in contact with toxins when you wear our mulberry fabric.
The fabric makes excellent bed linen - it improves your complexion as it is chemical free.

The Supply Chain
Traditional Sericulture is extremely labour intensive. It takes 15 labour days to produce 1 kg of silk yarn. The plantation is in rural Bihar where this agri-business has provided employment to 10 farmers, 15 sericulturalists, 5 spinners and 10 weaver families.
85% of the gross value of silk flow back to the rural communities. Mulberry One also buys cocoons directly from the small scale producers who are mostly women at good rates.
The spinners and weavers work closely with each other to improve the quality of the fabric. The weaving is done mostly by women. All the post weaving processes are carried out in the village; the final product is packaged and transferred to the customers directly from the village. We have removed middle men. This ensures that all the benefits can be given to the producers and the customers.
Let us know the amount your business or home requires, and we’ll make sure to get your items to you in agreed time. We guarantee the products we supply are top notch, however, if for some reason you’re unsatisfied with our product, let us know and we’ll be happy to replace it.
